I first saw Charanga Tropical at a noon concert at Northrop Plaza on June 21, 2007.
I have been photographing the chalk artwork on the days I make the venture to the noon concerts. The typo "Charango" appears on the printed schedule, so it is not the mistake of the chalk artist.
I have attached a music sample from their web site to an animation bit that I photographed on July 1, 2007 at Peavey Plaza.
The sound and the dancers are separate pieces, that I united for a sound experiment. I hope it is not too jarring for musicians or dancers.
