the title page shows how the same rules used for the end paper gave an impression of a ribbon

there are two rules;
one prints 20% of the color for a width of 2.251 pt then no color, repeating every 4.25 pt

the second rule prints 40% of the color for 1.5 pt, no color 2.75 pt, repeating every 4.25 pt
